Na Paypal en de Postbank is nu ook American Express weer aan de beurt. Met de onderstaande mail probeert men u te verleiden om uw gegevens te bevestigen:

Opnieuw Paypal phishing

Opnieuw worden PayPal klanten bestookt met een poging de login gegevens te kapen. Dit is het mailtje dat op dit moment circuleert:

En jawel, ook wij ontvingen zo’n prachtige spookfactuur. Maar die gaan we niet betalen en bellen doen we ook al niet. Wij hebben de envelop weer ingepakt en retour aan de afzender gezonden. Lijkt ons wel leuk als iedereen dat doet…

Er wordt momenteel weer druk gehengeld. Er wordt geprobeerd u te verleiden tot het controleren van uw PayPal login gegevens met een email die afkomstig lijkt te zijn van PayPal. Dit is de inhoud van de mail:

Onderwerp: PayPal Account Security Measures

We zeggen het nog maar eens:

Trap hier NOOIT in. Geen enkele financiële instelling vraagt OOIT op deze manier om verificatie!
